The Baptist Mid-Missions family exists to strategically advance the building of Christ's church, with His passion and for His glory, in vital partnership with Baptist churches worldwide.

The fulfilling of this strategic vision calls for mission personnel who are constantly growing - personally, interpersonally, and professionally. Our ministry is a calling from God, so we are not merely professional, but we bring to our ministry efforts the highest quality of preparation and continuing improvement that we can muster.  Peter wrote as a veteran missionary, "GROW IN GRACE, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2Peter 3:18). Somehow the old fisherman never tired of learning more, and neither do we.

This LIFT Program of Baptist Mid-Missions is "Life-long Improvement Field Training" designed to provide practical help for our missionaries around the world. It is part of our larger efforts in member care to enhance our productivity and extend our tenure as servants of Christ. The individual LIFT Units are arrayed under 7 categories, the competencies required of cross-cultural missionaries.

COST??  The LIFT Program is one of the many services included in the Missionary Services Fund to which you contribute.  You have made this available to one another, along with help from supporting churches.

Today the Baptist Mid-Missions family numbers nearly 1000 people, and we serve in around 60 countries. Around the world you'll find ministries that use unique methods to spread the gospel: aviation, radio, publications, camping, and many more. No matter the specialty, each missionary's goal is primarily evangelism, church planting, and discipleship to establish strong fundamental Baptist churches.
